These developments have significantly enhanced the ability of Black Americans to trace their genetic backgrounds, leading to a renewed interest in visiting ancestral homelands. This movement is further supported by partnerships between travel agencies and airlines, such as the collaboration between Certified Africa and United Airlines, which simplifies travel logistics for these heritage journeys​ .
